1. HAVE FUN. This is supposed to be an enjoyable event. Weather conditions, ammo, rifles and nerves can all affect a shooters performance so relax, take each shot as it happens and enjoy the event.
2. Properly sight your rifle BEFORE the event. For the 100 and 200 yard shooters your rifle should be able to group no more than 1 1/2" @ 100 yds and 3" at 200 yds.
3. Knowing how to "dope" the wind is a definite benefit. Wind flags will be stationed every 25 yards for shooters to take advantage of.
4. A good quality scope is always a good investment, not just for egg shoots but for any long distance shooting.
